Atlas Travel Medical Insurance Medical Coverage

Atlas Travel Medical Insurance is an insurance policy designed for international travelers from around the world. Atlas travel insurance includes comprehensive medical, emergency evacuation and essential travel benefits that provide financial protection to international travelers against different kinds of risks you can encounter while traveling outside of your home country.

If you experience an unexpected illness or injury while traveling abroad and need to seek medical treatment, Atlas Travel Medical Insurance pays eligible medical expenses under benefits. 

The covered medical expenses include treatment in outpatient clinics, treatment in emergency room or urgent care centers, hospitalization, surgery, intensive care unit, laboratory services, diagnostic imaging services, prescription drugs, emergency dental treatment or surgery, local ambulance, and more eligible medical costs.

Atlas Travel Medical Insurance has coverage for eligible medical expenses of acute onset of pre-existing conditions, complication of pregnancy, sports and activities, injury or illness resulting from terrorism. These benefits are included in the policy at no additional cost.

Atlas Travel Medical Insurance comes with key exclusions that do not qualify for coverage under this plan. You are not covered if expenses arise from anything in the General Exclusions.

What’s not covered? (General Exclusions)

If you have a life-threatening medical emergency and the local medical facility can not provide the medical care you need, Atlas travel insurance has Emergency Medical Evacuation benefit that can organize and pay for air or ground transportation to transfer the patient to the nearest qualified hospital to save your life.

If you are confined in a hospital Intensive Care Unit or following an emergency medical evacuation, Atlas Travel Medical Insurance has travel benefits such as Emergency Reunion and Bedside Visit that pay to bring your family to be with you during difficult times.

Atlas Travel Medical Insurance has comprehensive medical benefits that pays eligible medical expenses if you experience an unexpected illness or injury while traveling abroad.  Atlas insurance provides worldwide coverage. In the event of a medical emergency, you are free to go to doctors, hospitals, or other health care providers of your choice.
