Atlas America insurance is available to foreign visitors who are traveling to the United States for tourism, visiting family, business, study, work, or other purposes. Applicant has to be at least 14 days old and below age 100 years.
Atlas America plan is ideal for individuals, families, and groups who come to the U.S. for a short period of time with non-immigrant visas (e.g. B1 / B2 visitor visas, F / J / M / Q student visas, H / L / O / P / Q worker visas), or international visitors from Visa Waiver Program countries.
For example:
According to Atlas Travel Medical Insurance’s requirement, if you are a US citizen and currently residing outside of the United States, your home country is always United Sates. When you return to the U.S. for a short visit, you are not eligible for coverage within the U.S.
Residents from North Korea, Iran, and Cuba are not eligible for Atlas Travel Medical Insurance.
